What is JMUN?
JMUN is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants (middle-school students) about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the United Nations agenda.
The participants role-play as diplomats representing a nation or Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in a simulated session of a committee of the United Nations, such as the Security Council or the Environmental Committee. Participants research a country, take on roles as diplomats, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult, and then develop solutions to world problems.

What do participants think about JNAMUN?
What you say about us is more important than what we say about ourselves.
JNAMUN taught me that agreeing with a general idea with different types of people symbolises power and differences are our source of power. So what we think together is more important than our personalities.
